Robbie Moen is originally from Tucson, AZ where he attended Flowing Wells High School. Robbie was a standout student-athlete where he earned 6 varsity letters in 2 sports, Football and Baseball. He was an all-state wide receiver in Football and was the Arizona Division AA-C State Player of the Year in baseball his senior year. Robbie then committed to play baseball at the University of Arizona on a scholarship . He was a 4 year starter at Arizona, 3 time All-Pac 10 Outfielder, 2 time All American, career .374 hitter, and is still in the top 10 in several offensive categories including: hits, games played, doubles, runs batted in, and consecutive games played. He signed as a non-drafted free agent after the '93 season.
After his pro career he returned to school and earned a degree in Health Sciences. He has worked as a Division 1 Assistant Coach at U of A, Kansas St., and LMU. After coaching, Robbie has been an Area Scouting Supervisor for the Tampa Bay Rays for the last 8 years in the southern California area. He has also given private lessons and clinics in both California, Arizona, and Kansas. Robbie brings over 20 years of college coaching and professional baseball experience and truly believes he can relate with the athletes and their families to help them through this college process.
