Travis was a 4-year varsity player at Croswell Lexington HS on the east coast of Michigan. After High School, Travis played college ball at Grand Rapids Community College, where he helped his team win their League, Region, and the National Championship both years he attended. In 2004, Travis was a Rawlings All-American.
He was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in 2003 and signed in 2004. Unfortunately, While playing professionally in the minors, Travis sustained a shoulder injury that ended his playing career.
Since retiring from professional baseball, Travis has worked at 5 facilities in Michigan where he has helped train/coach players for over 15 years now. Travis recently opened his own facility, Dagda Baseball in 2021. His purpose in life is to help guys get to the next level.
