Ethan Ezor

1. Share your recruiting story and status.
The process was longer for me than for some people. Ryan always told me that I was going to be a fall commit, so I trusted him and just put my nose down and worked hard throughout the summer. I played in as many events that I could throughout summer and reached out to the schools I wanted to play at. I got an offer in the middle of the summer by UC Riverside, but I didn’t want to commit because there was still a lot of time to get in front of other coaches.
I got an offer from Colorado Mesa at the end of summer after they saw me in Arizona. I still had some more events in the fall that I had committed to, so I did those, but towards the end of fall travel ball and recruiting, I knew that Colorado Mesa was the place for me. I committed after all my events were over.

2. What school are you going to, and why did you choose them?
I will be playing baseball and furthering my education at Colorado Mesa University. From the very beginning, I really liked the coaches. They are very personable and really great people and I could see myself being coached by them for four years. They are very supportive of their players and treat them like family. Baseball is very competitive and I am looking forward to being apart of a winning program with a very attainable goal of winning a national championship.

3. How did SportsForce help in the process?
SportsForce helped me get on the map with various schools and get my name out there. They put a very good video together which got me a lot of attention from the beginning. More than anything, Ryan Thompson, helped me and my family go through the process with a level head and gave me good advice on who to reach out to and when.

4. What advice would you give to other players and parents with the recruiting process?
The advice that I would give to other players is to not rush the recruiting process. You may see your teammates and friends all getting committed before you and that is fine. You just need to remember who you are and trust in your abilities.

5. How excited are you on your future in college?
I am extremely excited about my future in college and feel that I am prepared to move on to the next level. I can’t wait to go out to Colorado and immerse myself in the winning culture that they have there.

6. How much money do you estimate your family saving in college expenses over the entirety of your college career?
With the combination of athletic, academic, and out-of-state scholarships, my family is saving a good amount of money during my college career. We are very fortunate to have most of my college expenses paid for.

7. Would you recommend SportsForce to any other student-athletes? Why?
If you want a personal, supportive, and determined, group of people to help you find a school to play baseball at, and get a great education, SportsForce is the right avenue. They were nothing but supportive throughout this process and I can’t thank them enough for that. The recruiting game can be tricky and can be stressful, so if you want help with it all, SportsForce is the right company to do that.

Over the last 10 years, SportsForce has helped over 1,000 student-athletes and families successfully navigate the college recruiting and athletic scholarship process while saving families on average $80,000 in college expenses.

Read below, why we are different from every recruiting group in the country.

Why SportsForce is Different:

* View our Home Page Video Unlike most recruiting companies, we do not just partner with anyone for our hands-on recruiting programs.  Instead, we only partner with qualified players who meet our Five academic, athletic, and coachability selection factors
We evaluate between 10,000-12,000 players each summer and fall at top showcases and selectively advise, and advocate for only a limited number of players each year by directly contacting college coaches to help them maximize recruiting offers.
Each of our expert college recruiters is limited to how many players they will advise so there is the best combination of hands-on guidance and personal recruiting outreach to college coaches.
