PERSONAL STATEMENT
There are many reasons why I think being a student-athlete is great. First, when I am so committed to my sport, I also have to be equally committed and determined in school to stay on top of my studies. Second, being a student-athlete teaches me great time management. I have to be able to balance a rigorous school schedule and practice everyday, making getting down to work key when the time comes.
