PERSONAL STATEMENT
Baseball has been a very large part of my life, since the age of five to be exact, and it was not until around the beginning of my junior year when I began to realize that there was so much more to my own identity than just baseball. I love this game as much if not more than anyone else, I just want to take advantage of the opportunities given to me through my abilities and love for this amazing game.

Recommendation: As a player, Gavin exhibits great leadership on and off the field with the ability to take instruction and implement it immediately. He has plus speed with the ability to hit to all parts of the field. We are working on his bunting to bring his game up a notch. Gavin can play multiple positions in the infield and play outfield if needed. Gavin is the epitome of a student athlete and has a pretty high ceiling if he is willing to put in the work.
