PERSONAL STATEMENT
Baseball has been a very large part of my life, since the age of five to be exact, and it was not until around the beginning of my junior year when I began to realize that there was so much more to my own identity than just baseball. I love this game as much if not more than anyone else, I just want to take advantage of the opportunities given to me through my abilities and love for this amazing game.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Describe Your Playing Style?: I love to play fast and enjoy playing on a small ball team.
Personal Statement: Baseball has been a very large part of my life, since the age of five to be exact, and it was not until around the beginning of my junior year when I began to realize that there was so much more to my own identity than just baseball. I love this game as much if not more than anyone else, I just want to take advantage of the opportunities given to me through my abilities and love for this amazing game.
Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: Torii Hunter, Mike Trout, David Fletcher,Trea Turner, Matt Chapman, Michael Lorenzen, and Trevor Bauer.
Other activites and interests: I thoroughly enjoy hiking, fishing, hunting, and pretty much anything outdoors. As well as serving my group of seventh graders at my local church and leading my schools FCA.
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: The two people who have had the biggest influences on my sports career are Jordan Zimmerman, who was my first club ball coach and is now one of my High school coaches. As well as my dad who has always been there for me, who helps ground me and show what is truly important outside of sports- which is becoming the best son, friend, brother, and teammate I can possibly be.
About Me: I am very hard on myself whenever I mess up in life, which has both its positives and negatives. One being I always want to be the best version of myself, but causes the occasional, unnecessary implosion of emotion. But through my faith, I am never worrisome of how my life is going to turn out.

I love leading others, whether it be on my sports teams, friend groups, church, or FCA. I feel like I have been given the abilities I have today in order to help try and lead those into a better path, whether it be faith based or not.

I know I will not always have these athletic abilities my entire life, which is why I want to capitalize on them and create the best college experience for myself, and reduce the stress on my family. If I can play on a competitive baseball team while getting a great degree and focusing on my faith, I will be very content.
