PERSONAL STATEMENT
Baseball has been a part of my life for so many years, and I can't imagine college without it. I am looking forward to the challenge of continually improving myself both academically and on the field in order to distinguish myself as an all-around student-athlete.

Describe Your Playing Style?: My playing style would best be described as determined, level-headed and smart. My head is always in the game, my thoughts are always on learning in the moment and I stay focused on the next possibility--at the plate, on the base paths, in the field--rather than becoming distracted by what went on earlier in the game. I expect to contribute. I don't get rattled. I try to stay loose.

Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: While I don't have a favorite athlete, I'm a huge Mets fan and enjoy watching Bartolo Colon. I like that he stays loose and gets it done.
Other activites and interests: I have many interests outside of baseball. I play football, snowboard and waterski. When I have the time I play video games. I like to hang out with my friends. Academically I like math a lot as well as Latin.
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: I have been deeply influenced by all of my baseball coaches. Each has expected a great deal of me and, in doing so, has taught me something unique about the game. Their confidence in me has given me the confidence to always reach for the next level.
About Me: I have a twin sister, an older brother and a dog named Bode Miller...I spend the summer on Shelter Island, NY. I like bacon cheeseburgers.
