PERSONAL STATEMENT
I enjoy being a student-athlete for a few reasons. First being a serious student-athlete drives me to do better in the classroom knowing that there are opportunities out there if I succeed in both the classroom and the course. Second it teaches me time management between practice, school, and a job. Finally in school, it gives me the knowledge that I will need to use throughout my golf career, and more importantly, in life.

Recommendation: I am writing this letter as a full endorsement and recommendation of Ryan Emery. Ryan's golf skills and overall attitude toward personal achievement are the character traits that make him standout. In the short time he has participated in my program he has brought a fresh and friendly attitude toward hard work and concentration to his golf game. He is a perfect example of a sound balance of athleticism and experience. He has taken his background in other sports and has translated them seamlessly to his golf game. Ryan plays and practices in a very focused and deliberate manner that continues to allow him to see progress and and pinpoint areas where he can still improve. My intuitive sense and experience lead me to believe that Ryan has developed a mental model the will keep him engaged and can take him beyond what most young golfers could ever imagine. It has been a pleasure getting to know and watch Ryan develop his skills. He has the ability to make any golf program or coach look exceptional because of his presents.
