As a student, I embarked on a ten-day immersion trip with fellow classmates in China and Inner Mongolia. While on the trip, we exercised our skills as environmentalists, planting more than 100 trees in rural Inner Mongolia. As a class, we also taught English to maturing Mongolian high school students and truly immersed ourselves into an eye-opening and diverse society.
