PERSONAL STATEMENT
I play water polo year round, and have an all around love of the sport. I aspire to play professionally, and am excited about the prospect of playing in college. I strive to be the best I can be. I played for three water polo teams last summer, which resulted in over 5 hours of training a day, six days a week. Yet I still want to be better and cannot wait for practice the next day.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Describe Your Playing Style?: I like the technical aspects of the game, I play strong but calculated. My favorite position is two-meter offense, but I will play anywhere my coach needs me to be. My positioning depends on my coaches, I have a strong enough arm to shoot from the outside, but I have enough versatility in my shots to play 2 meters. My strengths are quick and fast driving.

Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: Ronni Gautschi, Jacob Young, Samir Barac, Sandro Sukno, Maro Jokovic, Tony Azevedo, Merrill Moses, Maggie Steffens, and Brenda Villa
Other activites and interests: Water Polo is my passion. When I am not in the pool, I enjoy reading, and writing. I spend a large amount of my time watching videos of previous olympic games, european league, and colligate water polo. I enjoy analyzing different aspects of the game and studying plays. Its something I love to do and get better at.
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: The biggest influences on my sports career have been Ryan and Ronni Gautschi, and my high school coach, Paul Wells. The Gautschi's have taught me that I can compete with anybody as long as I want to and to listen to anybody's opinions, good or bad you can learn from anyone. While my high school coach has taught me the basics of the game, always gone out of his way to give me the proper insight and to always work as hard as I can. He believes in my abilities and has my utmost respect.
About Me: I am 6'2", 175 lbs. and still growing. I am seventeen and in my junior year of high school. I swim for my high school as well, and made first team all league last year (my first year on the swim team).
