Recommendation: | Tyler Marr is someone who can definitely succeed at the next level of baseball. He's one of the most coachable athletes I have ever come across in any sport and has been blessed with both physical stature and innate athletic ability. He always puts the team ahead of himself and, more importantly, he continues to make those around him better. Tyler is selfless and works hard at every aspect of this game, whether it's hitting, defense, or attitude. He is a player that you can teach a concept one time and he immediately implements it. Tyler has the academic prowess to be able to balance athletics and academics. He does well in the classroom and has the respect of his teachers as well as his peers. He uses his intelligence on the ball field where he applies his coach-like knowledge of the game from any position we ask him to play. Tyler is a natural leader and I firmly believe that Tyler's best days of baseball are ahead of him. He would be an awesome addition to any program that was fortunate enough to have him on their roster. Recommendation: | My name is Tony Forster, and it is my honor to write this letter of reference on behalf of Tyler Marr. Tyler is a senior, and has played under myself and staff for two years. Tyler is a very coachable kid that always wants to learn more. He is a team-first type of player that every coach would want in their program. On and off the field, Tyler makes sure he finds success. As a multisport athlete and student, he received “Academic All-State” during the 2019 football season. I was fortunate enough to also coach him in football, and Tyler showed just as much dedication and passion as what he displays on the baseball field. Defensively, Tyler will be a great catcher at the collegiate level. He communicates and handles pitching staffs very well. Offensively, Tyler has great discipline at the plate. He can hit for average along with power. I am looking forward to my third season with Tyler, as he is sure to display as much leadership and discipline we have come to always expect from him. Any program would be lucky to have Tyler. Please consider this young man for your program. Thank you for your time, Head Coach Tony Forster Great Falls Chargers Baseball |
