Being a Student-Athlete is very important to me. Being able to go on the field and compete is what helps make me the person i am on and off the field. My goal is to be able to play baseball as long as I can while also getting a good education.

Recommendation: Tyler Bribiescas is a young man that is going to contribute in college baseball. Dedication is at the forefront of his career and in his time at Liberty he has transformed himself into one of our most reliable pitchers. His work ethic and commitment to the game has grown immensely. As the head coach it is refreshing to see a young man that is in the weight room and working in the bullpen relentlessly.

Tyler has shown that he can effective in several roles. He has started games and served as a reliever. Having an LHP that can give hitters from both sides of the plate fits. His arm slot is ¾ and effectively throws to both sides of the plate. His velocity has been up to 87 this spring. He was very effective against several top programs in the country this spring. He will be ready situationally for the college game.

Academic success and community service are at the forefront of Tyler’s life. His 3.8 GPA reflects his commitment to his education. In addition, Tyler has given numerous hours to develop our player led discipline program. This program serves to mentor young players in the program.
