PERSONAL STATEMENT
As an athlete, I am looking for a college that will better me on and off the field as a player and person. Whoever takes a chance on me will not regret it. You get someone who will work until they find success out of me. I have never been taught to keep my head down in times where success isn't always there for me but rather to grind my way through it with a strong mind. I train with college and professional athletes almost daily because they are truly living my dream and I've been taught you must surround yourself with those who already have what I aspire. Family is everything for me and I want nothing more than the pride of continuing to make them proud and do great things at the next level.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Describe Your Playing Style?: My playing style is using everything I have. I play hard and I try to play the game the right way. I know my capabilities and I know how to use them to my best advantage. A big thing for me is the mental aspect of the game. I study it when I'm not on the field and use it when I am. This allows me, as a catcher, to have great success on pitch calls and helping out my pitchers.

Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: Derek Jeter, Robinson Cano, Pudge Rodriguez, Yadier Molina, Mike Trout, Jackie Robinson, Ken Griffey Jr, Mariano Rivera, Christian Yelich, Cody Bellinger, Aaron Judge
Other activites and interests: Sports, weight lifting, hanging with friends, cars, swimming, visiting with family, travel, learning new things
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: My parents are who I credit my game to. Without the financial aid and emotional support they've provided me throughout my past injuries and failures and to have instilled their faith in me my whole life is more than I could have ever asked for. Ernie Durazo shaped my style of play early on in my career. We would go multiple times a week for 3 or so years and he took me under his wing to teach me everything he knew. I met Donny Sands about 2 years ago and that's when my training got very serious. I see him anytime I can. The things he teaches me are directly from what he learns with the Yankees. My grandma had always loved baseball before she had passed away and it makes me proud to play this game for her and fulfill that joy she had watching me. I've had so much help along this journey but these people really have impacted my life.
