PERSONAL STATEMENT
My love for baseball started when I was 5 years old. My Dad was a big influence for me and always helped me grow as a player. I have learned to practice hard, play hard and never give up. Baseball has also given me an opportunity to become a leader. I learned how to communicate effectively with my coaches, teammates and umpires. I learned to take constructive criticism and have accountability for my mistakes. Through Baseball, I have used these tools and translated them to my daily life. For example, as a Leadership Chair for Teen Volunteer in Action, I have volunteered regularly for Challenged Athletes and Miracle League. Sharing my love for the game while serving local philanthropies is an opportunity I am really proud to take part in.

Describe Your Playing Style?: I am a grinder on and off the field. I love to learn and to work hard. I want to continue improving my skills as a baseball player.

Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: My favorite professional athlete is Yadier Molina. Yadier knows how to control the field and he is respected by his teammates.
Other activites and interests: Winning baseball games, hanging 10 on my longboard, tree skiing in Canada and family adventures.
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: My family has supported my love and passion to have a career in baseball. I am so lucky to have them in the stands rooting for me. Buster Posey has been the largest influence on me. He knows how to keep his cool in stressful situations and as a catcher I try to exemplify his demeanor .
About Me: I live with my mom and dad. I have and older brother that is a Junior at the the University of Utah and my older sister just graduated from the University of Alabama. I love skiing with my family and surfing with my brother. I have 2 dogs named Brutus and Pandora.
