PERSONAL STATEMENT
Throughout my life, I have always been surrounded by the game. It has become my utmost goal to play this game as far as I possibly can. I strive to be a leader on and off the field by committing myself to hard work and perseverance. I've made it a priority to put forth just as much work in the classroom as I do on the baseball field, to push myself to be the best version of myself.

PERSONAL INFORMATION		  
Describe Your Playing Style?: My main goal when I play baseball is to leave everything that I have out on the field. Knowing my physical limitations, I know that I can't take a single game, inning, pitch, or second off in order to have success. So, I play "like my hair is on fire" or fighting for my life. Every time I slip into my cleats, a new mindset of aggressiveness, passion, determination, and energy overtake me. On both my club and school team, I'm known for bringing the most energy, getting everyone going in the dugout and on the field, and for bringing a good mood and attitude to the whole team.

Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: Dustin Pedroia, Alex Bregman, Fernando Tatis Jr. and Francisco Lindor.
Other activites and interests: Outside of baseball, I really enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, but on top of that, I love fishing, reading, getting in the gym. My dad and I take trips around Arizona and parts of Colorado to fly fish and while he is a much better fisherman, I still enjoy accompanying him. I love reading science-fiction books about space or other outer-worldly topics. Most days a week (during the offseason) I spend around an hour to an hour and a half in the gym following school with some of my buddies. I find the weight room a really good spot to connect and build a strong bond with my teammates.
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: My father is the biggest influence on my sports career. Throughout my life, he has never let me have anything easy. Knowing that I would be on the smaller side during my adult years, we both realized that I will be countlessly overlooked and underestimated. Never once has he led me to believe that I would achieve anything easily. Since my earliest playing days, he sparked my inspiration to persevere through the fight even when the path becomes difficult.
About Me: I'm a teenager from Phoenix, Arizona who radiates energy and positivity. My motto through life is to "see a smile through the day" or to find the good things in life and find something to smile about. I'm an optimist and always look for the good in people and situations. People close to me describe me as a goofball, but someone who has enough energy to change the mood in a room.
