Recommendation: |
Josh Tauss is a very strong and athletic young man with tremendous potential at the next level of both his education and lacrosse career. Standing 6'2" and still growing, he is already the strongest player in our program and a member of our "750 Club", referring to the amount of squat, bench press, and deadlift weight lifted during testing. Josh lifted over 850 lbs during our October 2016 test.
Josh also possesses strong stick skills with both hands, understands field balance and spacing, and has the innate ability to be at the right spot to make a play. He has strong wrists and a hard outside shot, clocked at over 90 mph in August 2016. He is a natural finisher and a hard dodger, with the ability to create for others as well as finish plays himself.
Josh is a truly fine young man who is extremely coachable, works harder than anyone in my program, and would be a great addition to any program lucky enough to sign him.

Recommendation: |
Josh has trained under my supervision for the last four years. He is dedicated and extremely coachable. He is one the very, very few high school athletes that I have allowed to work with my collegiate athletes.
His effort and work ethic are outstanding. Based on his progress to date and his genetic potential I would reasonably expect him to play at 6'3, 200 lbs. by his college sophomore year.
His basics are outstanding from a technical and bio mechanical standpoint. This student athlete deserves your very serious consideration.
