PERSONAL STATEMENT
Baseball has been a huge part of my life. I have been on Varsity all my three years. Baseball has taught me how to lead by example and become dedicated to the grind. My goal is to keep playing baseball as long as I possibly can. I embrace the challenge baseball gives mentally and physically.

Recommendation: Jonah Storey is a very talented two-way player who is a D1 prospect both on the mound and in the outfield. A diligent worker, Jonah has gotten better each year and projects to be a middle of the lineup guy who is a “true ball player.” There is no one that likes being on the field more than Jonah and he does so many of the little things it takes to win ballgames. He has great feel for the strike zone, savvy on the base paths and can play all three outfield positions well. On the mound Jonah was having a fantastic season. He will sit 83-86 with heavy sink flashing an 87 once in a while. He is a four pitch mix guy with his changeup and slider being above average and In the strike zone. Most importantly he is a gamer and will always compete for his guys.

I’ve had the privilege of coaching Jonah for the last 5 years. He is a fantastic kid that is extremely coachable and always a good teammate. He is a good student carrying a 3.78 GPA and will represent any program with pride. I believe he is a Division 1 student athlete that will make an impact during his time in college.
