Recommendation: | To Whom It May Concern: It is with pleasure for me to write this letter of recommendation for Jake Berger. I have known Jake for the past four years while he has played football and been a student in my classes at Nevada Union High School. I have seen Jake in intense competitive situations, emotionally charged close victories and difficult defeats. Jake has handled himself with composure and dignity as he has continued to mature as a young man. Jake has been consistently strong in his academics thru ought high school. He maintains a 3.6 GPA in tough college preparatory classes. He is very intelligent and is a conscientious student. Jake is a talented athlete. A starter as a junior and as a senior at both running back and defensive back, Jake is quick, fast, and has great instincts. He has a bright future as a college football player. I’ve been proud to know Jake, to see him mature and grow, and develop into the young man he is. As he represents our school on the gridiron, I am proud of how far he has come in his journey. Sincerely, Dave Humphers |

Recommendation: | To whom it may concern, I am writing this letter of reference on behalf of Jake Berger. I have known Jake for the last 4 years; he has been a player in our program at Nevada Union High School. During those years, I have seen Jake grow from a immature teenager to a young man who was determined to make positive changes in his life and most of all his character. On the football field Jake is one of our leaders, he has proven to us that he wants to improve each and every day. This year he has practiced and played with every ounce of effort he possesses. He is one of our main play makers and has never complained about any position he has played. He enjoys playing the game of football and it shows in his passion to succeed. In the classroom, Jake has always strived to maintain a GPA over 3.4 and has continued to excel this year with positive grades and teacher relationships. Jake is an all-around young man with many great qualities and I believe he will be successful and give all his effort entering college both as a football player and student athlete.
