Recommendation: As the head coach of the baseball program at Alexander Hamilton Senior High in Los Angeles, I had the pleasure of witnessing Isaac’s baseball skills and instincts improve immensely in just a short period of time. Isaac is mentally and physically prepared to be an impact player at the varsity level for the next two seasons. Isaac’s strength as a player is his versatility, as he can play any outfield position, first base and can pitch. Isaac plays all these positions exceptionally and equally as well. As a coach, having Isaac in my lineup gives me a variety of options to exploit the opponents’ weaknesses, to mix-and-match a game-day lineup and is a valuable asset to my team’s success.

Offensively, Isaac possesses the ability to pull the ball with power and also drive the ball to the opposite field gap. He has a smooth swing from the left side of the batter’s box and displays a relaxed intensity approach at the plate, coupled with being patient and a great awareness of the strike zone. He can be a top of the lineup hitter, as he possesses good speed and has great instincts on the base paths, advancing to the next base on balls in the dirt and going from 1st base to 3rd base on base hits. Isaac can also employ his skills game with excellent bat control, that is, dragging and push bunting for base hits.

I think very highly of Isaac. In all, I consider Isaac a baseball player, and not someone who just plays baseball. I believe he is more than capable of playing at the collegiate level, perhaps even professionally one day. Developmentally speaking, Isaac has a high ceiling. He is determined to play at the next level. He works on every facet of his game diligently. His frame will be able to hold another 10-15 pounds, in which he will be able to attain naturally as his body matures.
