PERSONAL STATEMENT
I consider my most important attribute to be my hard working and resilient nature. I enjoy setting goals for myself, and I will do whatever it takes to achieve those goals. Even during adverse circumstances, I maintain my composure, and I have been told on numerous occasions that I flourish under pressure. My competitive spirit drives me to succeed in both sports and academics. I love competing as an individual, but I also enjoy being part of a team. I am outgoing and have a passion for connecting with people. I also have strong leadership skills.

Recommendation: I have been Emma Buell’s golf coach for her freshman, sophomore, and junior years of high school and have been very impressed with her development and improvement. She has been my number one player for all matches and tournaments all three years and she shows a desire to compete and excel at a high level.
Emma plays and practices ‘year round’ and has shown steady improvement from her 1st to 3rd year by reducing her average 9 hole average by almost 2 strokes. With her intense desire to excel she has made both 1st Team All State and 1st Team All Conference in her first three years of competition.
Emma has made the St. Louis Post Dispatch “A” List which recognizes the metropolitan student athletes who make straight A’s in the classroom. She is a bright, well-spoken young lady who enjoys competition and sportsmanship both in the classroom and on the athletic field. I thoroughly enjoy her presence on the team. She is a team leader and would be an asset to any collegiate program.
