"I am honored to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Dominic Bianchi. I first met Dominic nearly 3 years ago as he entered our football program as a freshman at Troy High School. Additionally, I was blessed to serve as his freshman English teacher. In my years working with Dominic, I have seen him develop into a wonderful young man both on and off the athletic field. As an educator, one wants students that go beyond merely earning a grade in a class. Dominic is exactly this type of student. He is not satisfied with completing tasks. He is curious, inquisitive, and determined. I always loved listening to his dialogue with other students when discussing themes inherit in The Odyssey or reading his well crafted and lucid essays. From a coaches perspective, it is refreshing to see a well prepared and well rounded athlete. As an athlete, Dominic is one of the most talented athletes I've had the privilege of coaching. The behavior skills he has developed in the classroom translate seamlessly to the athletic arena. He is one of our most cerebral football players as he is always seeking to understand the big picture. In his 3 seasons in our program, he has developed into an outstanding outside linebacker for our team. This coming year, we expect him to be an all league player for us and a potential athlete of the year as he is also a standout pitcher for our baseball program. While maintaining nearly a 4.0 GPA as well as honoring the year round commitment it takes to be a varsity football player, Dominic is also a 3 year letterman in baseball. It takes a special student athlete to balance the rigors of our world class Troy Tech program, and to be a two sport athlete. Bottom line, Dominic is special. Of the thousands of student athletes I've come in contact with over my years as an educator and coach, Dominic is one of the most promising I've ever known. "Dominic Bianchi, RHP/CF, class of 2021, is a dominant force on the diamond. Bianchi has above average arm strength and plays shut down Outfield from Center. On the mound, he has control of 3 pitches, and can throw each for a strike. In the batters box, he consistently is a top of the order guy, who is a constant threat for opposing pitchers.
