PERSONAL STATEMENT
Baseball is a huge part of my life. Not only has it helped me become a better athlete, it has helped me mature and develop into the young man I am. I hope to play baseball as long as I can. There is nothing like building chemistry, practicing everyday with the team, and finally dogpiling in that final game. CIF champions 2016

Recommendation: My name is Mike Bair, Head Baseball Coach at Laguna Beach High School. I have been coaching High School baseball for 14 years and I am privileged to recommend Dante Faicchio to your program. He has been our starting 3B for three seasons (currently a Junior) and has displayed an excellent work ethic, a high caliber skill set, and good sportsmanship.
Dante has an excellent work ethic and takes much pride in all facets of baseball. He is often the first player to arrive and last to leave, working hard in practice at all times and doing extra work to improve his skills. He is a physical player with good baseball size and athletic ability who loves to play baseball.
Dante has a high caliber skill set with very good baseball instincts. He has an excellent glove at 3B and demonstrates ability to range left, right, and in (for bunts) extremely well. He has been rock solid there, making all routine plays, making many highlight reel plays, and has demonstrated a strong ability to play in pressure games and situations, maintaining a confident calm and able to execute. He has a strong arm with quick release and is able to vary his arm slots when necessary to make certain plays. Dante is our leadoff batter this season and is able to work deep into counts, hit fastballs and off speed pitches, draw walks, hit to all fields, and be clutch. He is an extremely tough out, able to foul off pitches and find pitches to drive to all fields. He has a great temperament as a hitter and player; able to take the good and bad results without emotions ruling over him in the moment.
Dante always demonstrates good sportsmanship to his team mates, coaches, umpires, and opposing teams. He is a coachable kid who quickly applies new techniques and concepts while never complaining or pointing fingers at anyone. I am certain you will be grateful to have Dante Faicchio in your program.

Dave Hansen
Title: Hitting Coach
Organization / School: LA Angels
Phone Number: 949-233-3988
Recommendation: My name is Dave Hansen. I am a former major league player and now the MLB hitting coach for LA Angels. I am writing this recommendation letter on behalf of Dante Faicchio.
I have known Dante since he was 14 years old. I have watched him mature into a fine young man, and young baseball player.
Dante is a character first type of kid. He is well spoken and has all the leadership skills you are looking for in a student athlete. He has the qualities you are looking for, both on the field and in your locker room. He would definitely represent your school and your team well.
I have gotten a chance to work with Dante on his swing. His work ethic will be unmatchable. He is hungry to learn and to get better. His goals are to develop into the best baseball player he can be. I’ve enjoyed every minute I’ve gotten to spend with him.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.
Sincerely,
Dave Hansen

Recommendation: My name is Chad Concolino, I am one of the assistant coaches at Laguna Beach High school. I played baseball at UCLA and was honored to be Gary Adam’s last captain at UCLA.

I have been fortunate enough the last 3 years to help coach Dante at Laguna Beach high school and observe so many of the qualities it will take for Dante to excel on and off the field.

Dante has been blessed with talented athletic skills. I believe the one thing that separates Dante and has impressed me more than anything is his heart and attitude! His ability to deal with adversity, continue to give 100% effort with a positive attitude only helps make others better around him.

I respect and love this young man as I would my own son. Dante will be an amazing asset to your program.
