PERSONAL STATEMENT
I first played competitive baseball when I was three. There were other sports along the way but baseball always came first for me. It's in my blood. My grandfather and great grandfather both played minor league ball. Last year I decided to hang up my football cleats and pursue playing baseball in college. Now that I'm knocking on that door, my desire has never been stronger. I want to play major college baseball more than anything. I know I can contribute a lot to a program. Honesty, Integrity and Passion for the game along with being a good person and role model for my little brother who looks up to me.

Describe Your Playing Style?: I play the game fast and with passion, but I also play with power and explosiveness. I play the game the right way for the right reasons. Meaning, it's not about me, it's about my team and respecting the game of baseball.

Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: One of my favorite athletes plays professional football for the Minnesota Vikings. Adam Thielen is who I look up to as an athlete because he knows how to play the game smart, while also playing the game the right way. He is a humble athlete who points all of his success to Christ.
Other activites and interests: Other than baseball, I have a lot of hobbies and other sports that I play. During the Summer when its hot, my family and I frequently go to the lake. I love to water ski and tube. I also like to ride quads. My Dad and I go to the sand dunes in California. Getting to the top of a huge bowl and seeing miles and miles of white sand is amazing. I also play golf, snowboard, hike and play video games.
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: The person that has the biggest influence on my sports career is definitely my dad. My dad always pushes me to be my best and gives me all the tools I need to be able to play baseball at the next level, which is my dream.
About Me: My parents would say that I'm a quiet kid, maybe even shy. My buddies would say there's no better teammate or friend. My coaches would say that I'm coachable with a very high baseball IQ. I say I'm confident in my abilities. I know I want to be the guy at the plate with two outs in the bottom of the ninth with a runner in scoring position down by one. I've always been that guy. That's where I thrive.
