Recommendation: I have Coached Cayden since he was 14 years old, He is a great kid that is well liked by his peers. Cayden is a great student with a 3.4 GPA and has a great work ethic in the classroom as well as the baseball field. At 6 ft 180 and a 6.7 60 yard dash, Cayden is a hell of an athlete that also is a stud on the football field.

He shows Plus speed on the bases as well as the outfield running down balls that would be for sure doubles or triples. He makes great reads and really knows how to trust his judgment by putting his head down to cover ground on fly balls that are over his head. Cayden has above average arm that has good accuracy, he knows how to come thru the baseball with his feet to get rid of the ball quickly. At the plate he shows plus power driving balls out of the park. He has worked really hard in the weight room in the last year and it is definitely paying off. He has the ability to drive the ball the opposite way and loves to wear down the right center gap. He is working hard on cutting his strikeouts down by getting on top of fastballs above his belt. He knows how to put the ball in play with 2 strikes and use his speed to beat out a ground ball. Cayden is a team player and will do what ever it takes to help his team win. I have no doubt that he will play D1 baseball somewhere.

Recommendation: If I had one word to describe Cayden, it would be competitor. Cayden competes in school with a 3.4 GPA while being a multiple sport athlete. Cayden has been a varsity starter and one of our main contributors since his freshman year.

Cayden has an athletic build with speed. Defensively, he has great range in the outfield with a very strong arm. His main defensive position has been center field, although he can play any position on the field. Cayden has put in a ton of work throughout his high school years to become one of our top pitchers. In our shortened 2020 season (8 games), he started two games and pitched a total of eight innings. He earned two wins and struck out 11 batters.

Offensively, Cayden has great power and beautiful mechanics. Cayden was our MVP this season with a .577 BA, 1.773 OPS, 3 HR, 1 3B, 5 2B, 15 RBI, 13 R, and 4 SB. He had a .571 batting average with runners in scoring position. He was also our leader in quality at bats with a 74% QAB%.

Cayden loves the game and is willing to put in the work to become the best student-athlete he can be. I have enjoyed coaching him over the past few years and look forward to seeing what he is capable of during his senior high school season and beyond.

Recommendation: Cayden is 6'0, 180 pound athletic build. Projectable frame to add muscle and strength.

Cayden’s athleticism shows in many areas of his game. Body control can be seen along with fluent actions in the outfield, on the mound and at the plate.

OF- Cayden has good range (6.7 runner) and runs clean routes. He gets good reads and jumps on balls in the outfield. He has good arm strength that projects to get stronger as he develops.

Hitter- Low maintenance, well balanced swing. Has an upright stance, slightly wider than shoulder width base, with a short stride. Cayden is a gap-to-gap doubles hitter. This should translate to more HR as he develops and gains strength and size. Has a good understanding of plate approach. Good hand eye coordination and ability to find barrel and get on base.

RHP- Lots of upside. Smooth/ fluent pitching mechanics that takes stress off the arm. Has not thrown a lot of innings. Clean arm action that leads to good velocity (84-85) out of the hand. Has great body control and good rhythm with upper half and lower half working together through pitching mechanics. Cayden has good feel for off-speed. Can throw curve and change for strikes, with change that could be a plus pitch. Cayden has all the tools and ability to develop into a strong pitcher. His competitiveness would allow him to fit from starter to closer.

Cayden is a competitor that plays the game the right way. He is a student of the game, hard worker and a great teammate. His passion to learn translates into his plus baseball IQ. His determination to get better each day gives him an extra drive at practices and workouts. Cayden's teammates have respect for the way he carries himself as well as his positive interactions. He is a pleasure to coach and fun to watch play hard on every pitch. Cayden has a bright future in this game.
