John Bava
John has played, coached & worked in sports for the past 25 years. John began playing baseball competitively at an early age and continued to improve as an athlete, earning All-League & All-American honors in baseball his senior year at Thomas Downey High School in Modesto, CA. After his playing career was over, he coached high school varsity baseball & then became a private hitting instructor.

He also has been scouting and working with football players for the past 12 years, connecting many with college programs at all levels DI,II,III, and NAIA. Prior to working as a Scout and Advisor he worked with the 49er's organization and with NFL agents on draft prospects.

Andrew Beinbrink
Andrew Beinbrink is the CEO and one of the co-founders of SportsForce. He has been a driving force behind the growth and development of the SportsForce vision. As a 3 sport athlete in high school and former college (Arizona State University) and professional baseball player (Tampa Bay Rays & Texas Rangers) Andrew brings a wealth of hands-on sports career development experience and sports relationships to the table. He is continuously inspired to teach student-athletes, coaches and parents how to reach their potential, play sports with integrity and achieve their goals on and off the field. Andrew has assisted almost 1,000 student-athletes and families with the sports career development process over the last 3 years.

Nate Nelson

Nate Nelson
Nate brings over 8-years of experience in developing athletes, including three-years as a high school football coach and five-years as a college football coach (Stanford, Princeton & West Point). Nate’s experience as a recruiting coordinator in the Pac-10 conference enables him to set realistic expectations for athletes as they enter the recruiting process. Further, he understands how to arm athletes with resources they need to put themselves in the best position possible as they move on to the next level. After graduating as a Division II All-American safety from UC Davis in 2001, Nate coordinated the defense at St. Mary’s High School in Stockton, CA. Along with his on the field coaching duties, Nate coordinated the off-season strength and speed training program. He mentored many high-caliber athletes in training their minds and bodies to perform at the next level."Nate not only kept the class intact, but he improved the caliber of athlete here at Stanford University. Julie Brand

College Golf Advisor

Julie Brand
Julie Brand, M.Ed., brings experience from all sides of the collegiate golf landscape to her position as a NCAA college golf advisor at SportsForce. As a junior golfer, Julie was ranked as high as 3rd in the nation by Golf Week Magazine, and was featured in Sports Illustrated “Faces in the Crowd” for winning 3 of the 5 Major Junior Championships in a single season. After a long, and sometimes arduous recruiting process, she decided to play her collegiate golf at The University of Miami (Fl.), where she would become a 2 time All-American. She went on to play on the LPGA tour and then to coaching collegiately at the D1 level for 15 years. She first coached at East Tennessee State University for the 1999-2000 season, and then for 14 years at The University of Southern Mississippi. Throughout her coaching career, she personally recruited hundreds of athletes, eventually signing and coaching over 40 of those players. She built and maintains close personal relationships with many that she met in the coaching ranks over the years.

In addition to having experience on the playing and coaching side of the equation, Julie has 3 children. Cameron, their eldest, has just gone through the college selection process and will be a freshman this fall. The couple’s daughter Gabrielle is a 2019 actively being recruited to play basketball by programs from NCAA D1, D2, D3 and NAIA programs.

In addition to a background in high level competition, Julie was raised in a family of PGA golf professionals and has taught the game at various golf schools and country clubs over the years. She has developed a system for skill improvement over her 30+ years of involvement in competitive golf that she looks forward to sharing with recruits, their families and their instructional teams.

Alyssa Sobolik-Oeltjen

College Soccer Advisor

Alyssa Sobolik

Alyssa is currently over-seeing the soccer development for Sports Force. As a Freshman she won an NCAA DI National Championship as the starting goalkeeper with soccer powerhouse Santa Clara University. From there she went on the coach at University of San Diego, marking her as the youngest Division I assistant coach at age 23. Currently she is a competitive club team coach (Rancho Santa Fe Attack, San Diego, CA) and boys high school varsity coach, Canyon Crest Academy. Having played and now coached at every level, she is able to bring her strong sports experience and knowledge to the Sports Force team. Four of Alyssa's high school senior Goalkeepers have gone on to have successful college careers at the University of San Diego, Dixie State University, Vassar College, and Trinity College. One of which was the starting goalkeeper in the Division III Championship game in 2013.
