Recommendation: Kayla is an extremely hard working player who brings a great passion to the game. Her hard work and dedication to take her game to the next level show’s through her team’s success, as well as her individual accomplishments. Kayla is an extremely dynamic player who has been successful at several different positions on the court. Her "team first" personality, leadership and tremendous work ethic help create a positive team environment.

Title: Head Coach
Organization / School: Westview High School
Recommendation: I had the chance to first coach Kayla the summer before her 7th grade. Immediately I knew that Kayla was an athlete-positive minded, highly coordinated, physical despite her fairly slim frame at the time, unequivocally coachable, and so very mentally strong. During her freshman year, Kayla was an integral member of our SDVBC 15-1 team. I had the utmost confidence in her ability to play literally any position on the court, from middle blocker to setter to libero. She has one of the purest platforms I've worked with in my 19 years of coaching youth volleyball. I believe Kayla's cross training with high level basketball compliments her net play as she's able to get up and down and up again quickly. She has great instinct to the ball and has such strong hands. In addition to all her physical talent, Kayla is a natural leader. She is extremely vocal in the most positive way and understands how and when to simply lead by example. She will do anything to help her team succeed. Lead. Follow. Play any position. She is a student of the game and is definitely willing to put in the work to achieve her goals. I cannot say enough about how much of a joy it has been to coach Kayla.
