PERSONAL STATEMENT
I believe playing sports as a student-athlete helps my self-confidence and my character. I feel proud to represent our school and to put on our team uniform. I like the friendships and bond with my teammates as we compete together. I hope my efforts on the field and my focus on the "team" instead of myself are my best qualities.
Describe Your Playing Style?: |
I go 200% all the time according to my coaches. I love the game and will always contribute to the team. I believe my best strength is my speed. I can chase down fly balls most can't. I am very quick on the base paths. I enjoy getting into a pitcher's head. I get physical whenever needed such as sliding into bases and around tags. I consider myself a force and solid presence in the outfield and on the bases. |

Other activites and interests: |
I support an organization through my church called 'Heart for Africa', which is an outreach to orphans in Africa. I traveled with them to Africa last year and worked at the orphanage and with the kids.
I enjoy wake-boarding and boating in the summer. I am interested in government and history. I like to keep up on current events in government. |
