Achieving my goals are important to me, but also taking life lessons away is just as important. Working hard shows results and everyday I play I know I am getting better. Lastly, there is no greater feeling than proving someone wrong when it comes to academics and sports.

Recommendation: The most noticeable strength that Calvin possesses is that he is a vocal leader who expects his teammates to hustle and play hard as he does. As a catcher, he does an excellent job of receiving and blocking the ball. I have complete confidence in calling a curveball in the dirt with a runner at third base. He is also a student of the game who wants to better understand how to pitch to hitters and strives to continuously improve his swing. Calvin is a very coachable player that I see being a huge asset to any team.

Recommendation: Calvin is one of the hardest working players I've encountered in my years of coaching. His positive attitude and willingness to learn has helped him grow as our starting catcher.
