PERSONAL STATEMENT
The most important thing to me is being a student athlete. It is an amazing feeling to be challenged in the classroom and on the baseball diamond. I love being able to represent my school to the highest standards every day. Nothing compares to the way baseball makes me feel and my goal is to play baseball as long as possible.

Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: Nick Swisher - Always had a good time playing the game, not the best or highest paid but he never thought about either of those. He was always on the field to have a good time and I try to follow in his footsteps every time I am on the field.
Bryce Harper - A young ball player that surprised everyone with his talent. Thinking of when I first saw Bryce Harper play when he was 19 there is nothing more that I have ever wanted than to match his young success.
Salvador Perez - A stand out catcher that I have mirrored since I noticed him in the 2015 World Series. Salvador has show leadership during games and that is how I want to be on the field.
Michael Phelps - A very successful and strong athlete. He has extreme dedication to his sport and his awards are just the beginning to prove that.

Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: The people that have the biggest influence on my sports career have to be my parents. Without them I would not be able to be the baseball player that I am today, or even the person that I am today. Getting to games, practices, and far away tournaments would not be possible without them working everyday to support my entire family. Both my mother and father are my biggest role models and that will never change. They are both very successful and I hope to be as successful as both of them one day.
