My goal is to continue to consistently improve all of my academic and athletic skills through hard work, dedication and passion. I love being part of a team and the challenge of competition. Recommendation: Tyler has shown signs of being a complete catcher. With his work ethic and desire to compete, he could blossom into a top notch catcher at any level. He has an idea about executing sequences while calling a game. When receiving, he lets the umpire have a good look and has improved on sticking pitches with a strong hand. Blocking is probably his best attribute with an instinctive ability to get over and around balls. He has shown me a 1.96 to second and does have the ability to repeat the same delivery. He does rely on proper foot work and a quick exchange with accuracy to maintain the 2.0 pop time. His arm is work in progress and has improved tremendously in the past year. Really takes pride in his receiving & throwing.

Offensively, he shows strength in his swing and can get to the fastball. He is an aggressive kid by nature and will not get cheated at the plate. He has gap power that may develop into a little more as he matures. His aggressiveness can get him outside balls, but when he is in the gaps, he can carry a team.

Overall, Tyler is a good team mate that you can count on during tough times. He is a very likeable kid that will fit in within a solid team environment.

As a varsity athlete in two sports, Tyler is known for his unselfish play. He is extremely coachable and is always trying to help himself and other peers get better every time he is on the field or the ice. Tyler is an outstanding individual. He would be a great asset to any program.
