PERSONAL STATEMENT
Every time I step on the court I step on with a focused mentality. I believe that no one can stop me from doing what I want to do and succeeding not just on the court but off as well by being a student athlete first. This confidence and determination comes from knowing how much preparation I put into academics and the game I love, basketball.

Terriq has been a student-athlete in our program for the past two years. During that time Terriq has been in our program, he has displayed a natural leadership style that demanded and earned respect, while at the same time encouraged and motivated other students to improve and excel on and off the court. Terriq quietly exhibits a confident enthusiasm that inspires those around him to share his goals and expectations.

Terriq has played an integral part of our team’s success the past two years. Terriq has started at the point guard position that helped us reach the 2015 D2 State Playoffs (2nd round) and the D2 State Final Four in 2016. Terriq has earned All-Section and All-District Honors the past two years in the D2 Section III. For the upcoming season, Terriq will be selected as our team captain. Terriq is a tremendous leader that leads by example! Terriq is a tireless worker who expects to be successful.

Terriq is an excellent student in the classroom. Terriq is currently carrying a GPA that is over 3.85. Terriq’s teachers always have positive comments on his work ethic, character, and commitment to excellence toward his academics.

Terriq is also active as a mentor for our young children in our community. Terriq is our lead counselor at the Paradise Valley Summer Basketball Camp, and mentors our middle school athletes at the District Athletic Festival Program.
