PERSONAL INFORMATION

Describe Your Playing Style?: Forward or offensive-minded midfielder who is both fast and creative. Can finish strong or set up a scoring opportunity by distributing an accurate leading ball through the defenders to my teammates.
Personal Statement: Soccer has been a huge part of my life. I love the camaraderie of being on a tight knit team. I would like to continue playing soccer in college and work towards my doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: Abby Wambach, Derek Jeter
Other activities and interests: Mission Trips, travel, Harry Potter, lacrosse
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: My mom, Marianne Connelly-Semenuk, and dad, Daniel Mariniello, both have influenced my soccer career. They were both very successful in their sports careers and I have always wanted to play sports in college because of their influence. My mom played field hockey and soccer in high school, and after high school she played field hockey at Villanova University. My dad played baseball and soccer in high school and ended up playing baseball at Villanova. Both of them won the Big East Tournament while they were on the team. Their success in high school and college athletics has made me the competitive, agile player that I am now.
About Me: I am shy at first, but very quickly make close friends. I am very active in the Peer Leadership program at my school and enjoy participating in mission trips with the church youth group.
