PERSONAL STATEMENT
Personal Statement Description "My goal is to use my strong combination of athletics, academics and leadership skills to go to the best all around college and play football at the highest level"

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Describe Your Playing Style?: "By definition I would be a pro-style passing QB with a very strong arm and quick release. I do have an ability to scramble and create secondary plays. I will run when the play is not there. I have a strong comprehension of the game of football. I can read defenses and thus throw to secondary receivers if the primary receiver is covered. I know how to lead my team"
Personal Statement: Personal Statement Description "My goal is to use my strong combination of athletics, academics and leadership skills to go to the best all around college and play football at the highest level"
Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: Football: Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
Baseball: Matt Kemp. Los Angeles Dodgers
Basketball: Kobe Bryant

All three are very competitive athletes that leave it all on the field and lead by example in their work ethic.
Other activites and interests: In addition to sports, I like to play with computers and technology.
I also volunteer for Teen Volunteers in Action.
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: This is a tough question. My biggest role model in my career has been my father. He is a very hard worker who believes in excellence. I believe my mental strength and my ability to execute under pressure is learned thru my Dad via Osmosis.
From a technical standpoint, my mentor has been my first football QB coach, Billy Blanton, a great QB from San Diego State and Mater Dei. Billy took a big interest in my career and taught me all the nuances of the QB position
About Me: I'm a leader and I'm very confident. At the same time I have been schooled in the educate of being a QB by Billy Blanton. For instance, never put your hands on your head. This shows your teammates that you have failed. As well, when a receiver drops one of my passes , I never blame them, I would say "next time". And when I make a great pass, I always make sure I credit a receiver.
These character traits define me as well outside of football. I believe I'm a gentlemen that likes to make others look good.
