About Me: I'm very involved in fundraising for cancer research and treatment. After losing my grandmother, aunt, uncle, and girl scout troop leader to various types of cancer, I wanted to find a way to honor their lives in a positive way. I've helped to raise money for Susan G. Komen and American Cancer Society. In May of 2013, I cut and donated about 10 inches of my hair to Locks of Love. It was the second time I donated my hair to this great organization that makes wigs for children who have lost their hair while fighting cancer. Currently I'm doing a Birdies for Charity Fundraiser for the AJGA Ace Grant Program and TGen of Phoenix in honor of a friend of mine who is fighting pancreatic cancer.
