PERSONAL STATEMENT
Playing a sport is like opening a window to the world for me. Ever since I can remember I have participated in a variety of sports including football, soccer, basketball, golf, and, of course, baseball. Learning to play a position came easy to me. More importantly, however, is that I learned how to be a team player, how to enjoy winning without flaunting it and accept losing as a way to improve myself. Those attributes will help me as I move to a career beyond baseball.

Other activites and interests: Art/ drawing, playing and watching sports, going to the beach with friends, hanging out with my family, reading about history, music, attending church regularly.
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: My biggest influence is my family because they have always been there to push me. They gave me the freedom to do what I want to do with my life and have backed my decision to play baseball.
About Me: My mother says that baseball has been a part of my life since I was born. Baseball has always been the sport that I enjoyed the most. My goal has always been to play at a high level in the sport of baseball. I enjoy the team aspect of the game along with how tough it is mentally. I played soccer and football when I was younger, but I always enjoyed baseball more.
