Mark’s highlight of the season came when I needed five players to step up and play great in the CIF Playoffs. I first met Mark in 2008 while participating in the World Off Road Championship series. Mark participated in the series as an ATV racer. My company, Douglas Wheel, was a primary sponsor for the series and sponsored many of the professional racers in this series. My attention was quickly drawn to Mark. It was company policy that we did not sponsor amateur racers in any series. The only exception we have ever made was when we signed Mark to race on our product. Though his results as a racer were spectacular, we signed him because of the character he displayed on and off the track. Mark is one of the finest young men I have ever met. He is polite and courteous, has a big heart that is completely selfless. He raced with us until he stopped racing ATV's and started playing golf.
