Maris has played in some of the most competitive travel tournaments across the country for the Michiana Clippers and Michiana Scrappers and brings big game experience. Maris has the ability to play 2B and the OF. His footwork around the MIF is very good and he has very good plate discipline.

Recommendation: Maris is a terrific baseball player he hits well, can switch hit, he runs well, 30 SB, he is very reliable in the field, only 5 errors with 80 put-outs, and he can turn double plays great, we turned 16 this year. Far and away a record for our successful program. Maris was also a captain for our team. He does a great job keeping our players "in the game" both during the game and at practice. Maris works as hard as anybody always staying after for more ground balls and swings.
