PERSONAL STATEMENT
As a baseball player, my main goal is to play at a high level program while excelling in the classroom. At Orange Lutheran High School, we play a competitive schedule that includes many talented teams from Southern California. This enables me to stay at the top of my game while pushing myself to compete at a higher level. As I continue to grow physically and mentally throughout high school, I wish to be a strong contributor to the team. Pitching is one of my greatest abilities when playing the sport of baseball. Being a pitcher allows me to be in the middle of the action. I enjoy the thrill of competition and helping my team win ball games. Most importantly, I value my education more than anything. Though my love for baseball is great, my stronger ambition is to attend a college or university that has high academic standards. Through academics and baseball, I have learned how to overcome many challenges with concentration and discipline. I hold myself accountable for my performance in the classroom and on the field. Although I do not know where I will be heading, I would like to study political science and business.
