Recommendation: To Whom It May Concern,
Liam is one of Australia’s best prospects and has progressed physically and mentally throughout the 3 plus years of working with him, a big frame left-handed hitting 2-way player who is extremely coachable which compliments his raw ability to do things at an elite level. Has been a member of the national team now for 4 years and will continue to represent his nation for years to come.
As an ex-major league players and current Broadcaster for the Seattle Mariners, I have had a front seat to the best in the world and patterns that exist in elite athletes. Liam has my complete endorsement of that category as not only a baseball player but a human being.
From a pitchers stand point, lefty with great tilt, and plus change up and curveball who will grow into his frame as he gets even stronger.
I am extremely excited to witness the next chapter for Liam.

Recommendation: To whom it may concern,
I've had the pleasure to mentor and train Liam for the last 10 years. Liam is an absolute gamer, high energy leader that makes every player better around him. Liam has a powerful left-handed stroke that drives the ball to all fields. Can play all 3 outfield positions with good speed for his size as well as 1st base. 1st to the field and last to leave mindset with bulldog mentality. Liam is an impact player who doesn't back down against anybody. Great feel for pitching as well LHP currently low to mid 80's fastball with 3 pitch mix that can throw for strikes at any time.
Additional Information: Would love to chat more about Liam with you feel free to call me on 858 822 8783.

To Whom It May Concern,
I write to you in recommendation of a fine young man in Liam McCallum. Liam has been part of the Baseball New South Wales landscape for several years having participated in our various State Team and High-Performance Programs during my time as the Head of High Performance and Baseball Operations for Baseball New South Wales. I have also had the opportunity to work with Liam during National Programs such as the 150 National Team.
Liam is a very mature young man for his age and exhibits several positive and beneficial traits that hold him in good stead for the future as a collegiate athlete. His work ethic, dedication, leadership ability, mental toughness and desire to continue to be the best version of himself would be a benefit to any collegiate program. He has had the opportunity to be mentored by his older sibling who is currently applying his trade as a collegiate Baseball player in the US collegiate system.
Physically, Liam is a left-handed hitting 1B/OF with good defensive actions in either position. He possesses fantastic hand-eye co-ordination and the ability to spray line drives from line to line with excellent knowledge of the strike-zone. With added strength he will develop extra base power which will be an added component to his game.
Additionally, Liam can also pitch and possesses good command of a Fastball, Curveball, Slider and Knuckleball pitch repertoire. While I believe he projects as a position player, knowledge of his versatility is a bonus to any collegiate program. Liam shows fantastic aptitude, baseball IQ and is extremely coachable in making the necessary adjustments to further succeed at the higher levels of the game.
In summary, you will not be disappointed with this fine young man and he will be a fantastic addition and representative of your program should you choose to accept him.

Yours in Baseball,
Jason Pospishil
