Kacen is a one of a kind baseball player. He is the type of player every coach wants on his team. He truly brings so much to the table on a team: ultra competitive, talented, coachable and passionate about baseball. He refuses to lose, competes and plays as hard as any player I have ever had. Many players mask their lack of ability with hard work and scrappiness, but Kacen has ability AND works hard. He is extremely talented and can play multiple positions (middle infield, 3B and catcher). He has “plus” speed, great hitter with surprising power for someone his size and a great arm.

Kacen is fundamentally sound and is a smart baseball player who just helps his team win in any fashion he can. He will study pitchers and pick up tendencies to help us steal bases. He will also study pitchers pitch sequences in certain counts. He pays attention to the opposition and their skills to know when to take that extra base.

Kacen truly is a baseball player and not just someone who plays baseball. Many kids do not “know” the game and just go out and play. Kacen does both: studies the game and works extremely hard at the game. Baseball is very important to him and it shows with his drive on the field. Most kids do not like to lose but Kacen is extremely competitive and does whatever he can to avoid losing!
