PERSONAL STATEMENT
In everything I do I expect a lot from myself. This includes athletics, schooling, and extracurricular activities. I start every competition with intentions to win, although winning is not my only goal. I plan on attending college to play college baseball with intentions on graduating with a degree in Pre-Law and/or Business which will help me reach my goal of earning a Law Degree.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Describe Your Playing Style?: My playing style can be noted in more instances than just baseball because I play the same in every situation. In a true game situation my goal is to play the best of my ability, this includes being very aggressive when it is necessary but also being able to play in difficult situations. I am also very competitive and with every competition I start, my goal is to win.

Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: When posed with the question of who my favorite athletes are, I can easily say that my two favorite athletes are David Ortiz and Dak Prescott. I see David Ortiz as a role model for myself because he is a very influential man, as well as a great baseball player. I say this because of all he does for children's funds and charity's, as well as ending his career with a .315 batting average in the 2016 baseball season. I also idolize Dak Prescott because of all he went through to become a successful athlete. Prescott suffered the loss of his mother and defied all odds becoming the 135th overall pick of the 2016 draft, also becoming the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys.
Other activites and interests: Aside from athletics, I am strongly interested in FFA, or future Farmers of America, and hunting. School and sports take up a very large portion of my life, but during my minimal downtime I have a couple activities I tend to take up. During duck season, I hunt waterfowl with my father and brother, as well a hunting large game during deer season. Along with this, FFA has become a very big part of my life. I am involved in my local FFA chapter. I am a chapter officer, I raise a market steer for my local county fair, and I compete in different competitions. These competitions consist of Extemporaneous Public Speaking, Parliamentary Procedure, and Agricultural Mechanics, which I was on the National Champion team in 2016.
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: I have had several influential people in my athletic career, but both of my parents share the position of being the most influential. Without my parents I would not be alive today, but I also wouldn't be able to attend all the amazing events that I go to as well as all the great experiences I am a part of. My parents allow me a vehicle to drive to practice, as well as all the equipment needed to have a successful baseball career.
About Me: I am very involved in many different aspects of the high school life. I love playing baseball year round, but still leave room to be successful in the classroom. Along with the year round baseball I also enjoy year round public speaking through FFA. I plan on using my skills learned throughout high school to help me be successful in college, and eventually the work force. I see myself as outgoing and polite, but also with a little touch of enthusiasm in everything I do.
