PERSONAL STATEMENT
I have lived all my life with baseball, ever since I was three. Baseball to me is much more than a game. I have learned so much, and one of the things that I love about it is that "It ain't over till it's over"- Yogi Berra. What this means to me is that no matter how bad a situation is, there is always hope. You are not timed by time itself, but how you use your chances. My life is ultimately in the hands of my Creator, but my goal is to honor Him through playing baseball.

Describe Your Playing Style?: My play is an unselfish style, helping others succeed in order to win a game. I am the one shouting out the plays when I am in the field, encouraging others and telling them to shake it off after a mistake. This is me with my team. When I am in a situation where I am against the opponent, I am aggressive. I do all that I can within my ability to be the victor of the battle so that my team can win.

Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: Derek Jeter is one of my favorite athlete because he excels at what he does and is a leader. He makes those around him better, yet has the humility to listen to advice, help others, and continue to work hard.

Other activites and interests: I like to play guitar, as I currently serve as a co-leader on the church band and also in youth group. I like robots and cars. I am on the robotics team and have even helped with my drawing interest, helping to design part of the shirt. I am also interested in software programming, including Java and Python, and am working as a software QA intern at SurveyMonkey in summer, 2015.
