PERSONAL STATEMENT
Baseball has been a part of my life since I was four years old, and I know it always will be. My ultimate goal is to rise to the next level of competition as a college player. I enjoy being a student athlete because it gives me an opportunity to compete in the classroom, as well as on the field. I enjoy representing my school and making lasting memories with my friends. I pride myself on my hard work and being a competitor every day. I am extremely committed to baseball, and always put in the time to perfect my craft and be the best player I can possibly be.

To Whom It May Concern,

I have had the pleasure of coaching Jon Tessier for the last 4 years. Throughout the course of that time, I have always found Jon to be talented and energetic.

Jon has the skills to play at the next level. As a shortstop, Jon has good range, a strong arm, and the ability to make athletic plays. As a hitter, Jon creates a lot of bat speed with his hands which translates to good pop. He is a low ball hitter who can drive the ball for extra bases. As a pitcher, Jon can come out of the pen, throw strikes, and also throw the ball by hitters with his fastball. He throws well out of the slide step so it gets on hitters faster than they realize. Jon
always hustles and looks for opportunities to take extra bases.

More than being a talented player, Jon is a high energy player. He always shows up to the park focused and determined to be successful. His passion for the game rubs off on the rest of his teammates and they feed off of it. As a coach, I am always confident that Jon has prepared for
his opportunity and is determined to be successful.

Jon makes any team better and he would be an asset to your team. Please let me know if I can provide any further information.

Sincerely,
Morgan Cummins
