PERSONAL STATEMENT
What most people do not know about me is that through my community service hours, with Boys Team Charity, I have been able to work with kids who have special needs. These kids show up everyday with a smile on their face no matter what. It has been very humbling for me in that I take some things for granted, like sports. Even though they aren't as gifted athletically, they play sports with a great big smile on their face, having a lot of fun. I've built life long personal connections with them.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Describe Your Playing Style?: I am a team player and I do the little things such as get the runner over from second to third with less than two outs. I play the game as aggressively as I possibly can. I am always looking to take the extra bag and love to steal bases.

I enjoy playing pick up basketball games with my brother. We are very competitive when we play with one another. I also really like to play Xbox with my friends.
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: The biggest influence on my sports career has been my dad. He has motivated me to always put in the extra effort to be an extraordinary person in life as well as in sports. My dad has also explained to me, as Derek Jeter has been quoted, "There will be people who have more talent than you, but there is no way they should work harder than you do".
About Me: I am the oldest of two brothers. I was a three sport athlete up until eighth grade. I played baseball, basketball, and soccer. Once I entered high school I decided I was just going to focus on baseball as it was my passion.
