My name is Jesus Barreto and I am a 5'11 RHP/2B from St. John Bosco High School. I am currently in my senior year and second year on Varsity. My fastball has jumped from 80(April) to 87(November) and I am working hard to get to 90 before season. I pride myself on being a better teammate than player and playing the game hard.

Recommendation: I am Don Barbara Head Baseball coach at St. John Bosco High school. I am writing this letter on behalf of Jesus Barreto. Jesus is a right hand pitcher for our team. Last year in our shortened season Jesus came out of the pen and he will do the same this year with some possible spot starts. Jesus would be an asset to any team for many reasons, one is he is one of the hardest workers we have out here when it comes to baseball or his academics. Two his knowledge of the game is very high, he listens, learns and is able use it in his game almost immediately. Jesus throws in the mid 80’s with his fastball, along with that he will show a curve and a change. The best thing about him is his command, he is a guy I can trust to go in and throw good strikes. He will not blow a fb by someone but he will be a very good mix guy some school.
Jesus is a duel position player, he also plays 2b. He will show very good hands and has plenty of arm and quickness to turn a double play. With the bat he is a contact hitter that will spray the ball. There is not much power but there is contact. He is good at the short game and execution.
Jesus is a would be a great teammate and student athlete, I enjoy having him play for me.
