PERSONAL STATEMENT
Experience: 11 years of BB, Jake has played year round travel bb for the Murrieta Valley Hurricanes for the last 6 years. As the team captain he has led the Canes to 40 + championship games. Jake has great character and has always been a leader. Very humble, with a great attitude, always portraying good sportsmanship. Jake always shows respect towards umpires coaches and all players. Jake plays BB because he knows and loves the game, He will play and be a leader, no matter what the venue.

Additional information: Jake is a full time catcher. Sometimes having to catch 2 games back to back is no problem for him.
When Jake does get a break, he can play anywhere in the infield.
Coach Jason Klug can attest to his abilities at short stop, which is where he wanted Jake to play for him, but had to put him back behind the plate.

Additional information: Jake attends Choice 2000 HS. As a Freshman he played BB for Heritage HS, which is a mile from our house, and was the starting catcher on Varsity. Jake started and completed every single game except 1. When he was a sophomore, Choice 2000 relocated, and now shares the same property as CMI, therefore he was unable to play for Heritage, but had to play for CMI his sophomore year. CMI is division 7, and we felt very uncomfortable leaving him there, so his JR year he played in the ABCL D1 Spring Lg
