Recommendation: Gabriel Culver, Merril F. West HS, class of 2015, is a left-hand hitting Shortstop and RHP. Gabe has very fluid, compact stroke from the left side. Defensively at Shortstop, he has soft-hands and a quick release once he gathers the ball. He has good range both to the glove hand and throwing hand side. As a pitcher he has a real loose, live arm, with a lot of downward movement on his pitches. Gabe is a very dedicated, student athlete currently carrying a 3.0 gpa in the classroom and plays baseball competitively year round. He constantly is working to improve his game and be the best college baseball prospect he can be.
