PERSONAL STATEMENT
I love the sport in that it offers me a life lesson. Sport provides me with a solid base to tackle anything. Playing baseball and studying is my ultimate dream as I combine what I love with an opportunity to develop new skills that will provide a platform for me later in life. I enjoy team sport and the comradery it brings with my teammates as we strive for a common goal. There is no better feeling in working hard and achieving a result with other like-minded players. I honestly feel that living and breathing baseball in a college system whilst studying will provide me with the perfect balance. I coach younger players at home and gain a lot of satisfaction in teaching the fundamentals of our game so that they too can develop as a person and a as ballplayer. Baseball has taught me how to respect and work with others on and off the diamond. I am often introduced to younger players as someone who has played for his country and I do my best to ensure they are aware that anything is possible with hard work. I like to think of myself as a role model to younger players. I get along with everyone, I'm a team player and I love playing baseball at the highest level possible. Playing baseball in a college program in the U.S.A. is my Mount Everest and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to climb that mountain.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Describe Your Playing Style?: Hard and aggressive but a team player. Its important that I go out and do my best for both myself and the team, always thinking of what play is in front of me and the next play in the game. I am always aware of my surroundings and other players on the diamond.

Playing baseball in a college program in the U.S.A. is my Mount Everest and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to climb that mountain.
Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: My favourite athlete is Jose Altuve because he plays second base and is a smaller guy competing with the big boys. He is a great fielder and good hitter with a good on base percentage.
Other activites and interests: I am involved in a number of different school sports such as touch fotball, oztag, hockey, athletics, rugby league and soccer. I play soccer in AUS winter as well as grade baseball and attend the gym 5 days a week made up of core strength, weights, agility programs and sprint classes.
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: I was lucky to have a great coach who taught me the right basics in batting, fielding and pitching when I first started playing as a 7 year old. He also taught me to respect the game and how to be both a great baseballer and person. In the last few years i have been really lucky to have an Australian Hall of Famer coaching me. I look up to him and respect his achievements and his knowledge of the game. I am always learning new things from him which are not always about baseball.
About Me: I am naturally athletic and have a passion and dedication to baseball. I also play soccer in our winter in the highest grade in our area. I enjoy team sports but like to achieve results as an individual and that's one of the things that I like most about baseball. I love the feeling of a good hit, good play and doing well as a team.
