PERSONAL STATEMENT
Baseball has made a huge impact on my life both on and off the field. My goal is to play baseball for as long as I can until I am physically not able to play anymore. I love to challenge myself whenever and however I can whether it's with baseball or school. I am a determined athlete that will stop at nothing to play baseball. Being the first person in my family with the chance to attend college in the United States gives me an even greater drive to succeed as a student-athlete and product

Recommendation: To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Stephen Yoo and I am writing this letter on behalf of Cole Slater. I have had the privilege of working with Cole's catching for the past couple of years and it has truly been a pleasure.

My baseball resume includes playing college baseball at the University of Southern California and at Texas Christian University. After college, I had the privilege of playing professional baseball for 9 years which includes independent ball, 2 years overseas in Korea, and lastly with the Texas Rangers organization. I am currently working players individually ranging rom high school to professionals. I am also assisting at Birmingham High School in Van Nuys, CA.

Cole has shown phenomenal work ethic as he shows up early to practice and shows the willingness to stay after to perfect his craft. I am more impressed with his ability and effort to learn the information and apply it on a regular basis. I am impressed how dedicated and passionate he is to the art of catching. I truly believe that when given the opportunity, Cole can play at the next level and be a contributor.

Cole is not only a student on the field, but he is a student in the classroom as well. I know he takes his life off the field as serious as he does on the field. The combination of hard work, ability to learn and apply, and his love for the game makes him one of the best players that I have worked with.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Stephen Yoo
