PERSONAL STATEMENT
I enjoy being a student athlete and an active participant at my school. Playing sport has been a major part of my life. But baseball has always been the cornerstone of my personal development as it has taught me many life lessons such as integrity, respect and team work. My goal is to keep playing baseball for as long as I possibly can. My dream is to turn my love of sports into a career in sports medicine or sports therapy.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Describe Your Playing Style?: Hi have an aggressive style of play. Defensively, I use my speed to keep the ball in front of me as much as possible while using my arm strength to get the ball in quickly or in deep to keep pressure on the runners and batters. Offensively, I rely on my power to hit for extra bases. I work on “zoning up”. I look for a pitch in the zone to avoid pitches in the dirt, especially off-speed. I approach the plate with discipline, looking of a good pitch to hit and not miss it when I do get it.

Other activites and interests: baseball, working out, hanging out with friends, playing video games, and attending my church small group
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: The biggest influences in my sports career are definitely God, my parents, and my two amazing Coaches Ruben Corral and Clemente Bonilla. God has been a huge influence in my life these past few months. Blessing me with the ability to play baseball everyday, and also blessing me with amazing teammates and coaches that have passion for the game. My parents have been a huge influence in my life taking me to all my games and practices, and pushing me to my limitless potential in life and baseball. My two coaches Ruben and Clemente have been a huge role in my baseball career. As they never gave up on me as they both see big potential in my sports career, and as they both took time out of their days to work with me personally or with the team as a whole on whatever it may be.
About Me: I am from Trabuco Canyon, California and I am the oldest of four children. I have two younger brothers and one younger sister.
